This Software Licence Agreement ("Agreement") is between Dream Blend Solutions Private Limited ("Licensor") and the customer who buys a AjonBill licence ("Licensee"). By installing or using the software you agree to it.
1. Grant of licence
On payment, the Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the purchased AjonBill edition for the Licensee's own business, for the plan period, on one web domain and on the number of Windows computers stated on the licence. Add-ons are licensed for the life of the licence they are bought for.
The licence is for the edition stated on it (for example Grocery / Kirana) and cannot be used to run any other edition of the software. Updates are delivered only for that edition.
2. Activation
The licence is activated when the licence key is first verified by the installed software. The plan period starts on that day. The licence is then bound to that domain or computer. To move it to another domain, contact support. To change a Windows computer, remove the old computer under My Account > My Software > Installations and set up the new one.
3. Restrictions
- Do not copy, share, sell, rent or sub-license the software or licence key to anyone else.
- Do not modify, decompile or reverse-engineer the software, except as allowed by law.
- Do not remove, disable or work around the licence checks, file-integrity checks or copyright notices.
- Do not use the software for any unlawful purpose.
4. Ownership
The software, its source code, design and trademarks remain the property of the Licensor. Only the right to use is licensed; no ownership is transferred. Open-source components included in the software remain under their own licences.
5. Your data
All business data you enter belongs to you and is stored on your hosting or computer. You may export or back it up at any time, including after the licence ends.
6. Updates and support
Updates and support are provided while the plan is active, as described in the Terms & Conditions.
7. Expiry and termination
When the plan ends without renewal, the software stops billing until it is renewed; data is not deleted. The Licensor may terminate the licence if this Agreement is breached. On termination you must stop using the software.
8. Warranty and liability
The software is provided "as is". The Licensor's liability is limited as set out in the Terms & Conditions.
9. Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of India, with courts at Samastipur having jurisdiction.
